Q: What is Neuropsychology?

A: Neuropsychology is the study of brain-behavior relationships. Performance (behavior) provides information about how we are thinking (brain).


Q: What will the evaluation consist of?

A: The evaluation will be an all-day meeting. We will start with an interview so we can understand your concerns and goals. Testing will consist of pencil and paper tests.  Breaks will be provided.


Q: What should I bring?

A: Please bring any documentation that you feel is important, including a list of current medications. While water will be provided, some like to bring their own beverages and snacks. You will have a break for lunch to go out or eat in the office if you bring your lunch with you. If you use pillows or braces for extended periods of sitting, these may provide support and comfort.


Q: Do you take insurance?

A: No. You will be billed 50% of your rate upon initiation of services, and the remaining 50% will be billed upon completion of the final report. Cash, checks and credit cards are accepted.


Q: What if I need to reschedule?

A: No problem. Please do so within 72 hours of the scheduled appointment.  Cancellations, including no-shows, and rescheduling of appointments less than 72 hours in advance will incur a fee.


Q: What is unique about receiving an evaluation from a board-certified professional?

A: Being a board-certified professional assures that clients will receive high quality services from a specialist who has successfully completed the training and experience required for competency in Clinical Neuropsychology.
